PortZED: Agreement to release Eco Town Grant
The City Council was successful in bidding for
capital grant under central Government's Eco Towns scheme for
Shoreham Harbour. A grant of £460,000 is available to assist
in providing a visitors centre at the proposed PortZED development
at Aldrington Basin, should it receive planning permission. This
report seeks agreement on the broad terms and conditions under
which the grant will be released.
