Cedar gardens parking issue petition

We the undersigned petition Brighton & Hove Council to install a double yellow line to the left side (upon entry) of the road to include restrictions on the turning circle at the top of road, used by refuse collection and larger vehicles including emergency vehicles .

Since many roads surrounding Cedar Gardens have updated and restricted parking, our road has suffered severely with numerous cars being parked both intrusively, and obstructing driveways and gates. On many occasions the paths have been completely blocked forcing pedestrians to walk into the road. Cedars Gardens is home to "The Cedars" housing in which most the residents are very elderly or incapacitated, ourselves we have 2 sons who are registered blind and who, on many occasions, have had to navigate their way around vehicles on pavements to access property entry! The residents home is often visited by ambulances and are always accompanied by a fire service vehicle on which several occasions have struggled to gain access due to both sides of the road being parked on. Our refuse collection has been missed on many occasions due to lack of access due to cars being parked on both sides of the road.
The road and the residents are being affected hugely and consideration must be taken to stop our road becoming an overflow car park for non residents.
A collective of images have been taken over a period of time to highlight the issues faced by residents.
