To receive Nominations for the Deputy Mayor-Elect for 2017-18
The Mayor will seek nominations for the Deputy Mayor-elect for the 2017-18 municipal year in line with the agreed protocol.
Minutes:
47.1 The Mayor sought nominations for the Deputy Mayor-elect for the municipal year 2017/18; and called on Councillor G. Theobald.
47.2 Councillor G. Theobald nominated Councillor Dee Simson to be the Deputy Mayor-elect for 2017/18.
47.3 Councillor Wealls formally seconded the nomination.
47.4 The Mayor noted that there were no other nominations and therefore put the motion that Councillor Simson be the Deputy Mayor-elect for 2017/18 to the vote which was carried unanimously.
47.5 The motion was agreed.
