A report detailing the proposals to allocate Basic Need funding to the city's secondary schools

Decision:

RESOLVED: That the Committee –

 

(i)            Agreed to the methodology and allocation of £16.3m of capital

funding to the city’s secondary schools as detailed in paragraph 3.51 in this report be included within the Council’s Capital Investment Programme 2018/19.

 

(ii)          Agreed to the council working with the governing body of each

school to identify and reach agreement on how the capital funding will be used.

 

(iii)         Agreed to recommend to Policy & Resources and Growth Committee that they grant delegated authority to the Assistant Director of Property & Design to procure the works, as required, in accordance with Contract Standing Orders in respect of the entire Education Capital Programme.
