School Admissions 2012/13
To set the Council’s school admissions
policies and admission numbers for pupils starting at Community
infant, primary, junior and secondary schools in September 2012, to
report on the consultation with schools and parents and to report
on admissions arrangements set by voluntary aided schools and
academies in the City.

Consultation process
There will be a public consultation, a
consultation with schools and also with neighbouring Councils and
the Roman Catholic and Church of England Diocesan authorities. The
consultation period will exceed the statutory requirement of 8
weeks by about a month, and will start late November 2010.
