London Road Parking Charges
We the undersigned petition Brighton & Hove Council to return the Parking charges to their previous level for the London Road car park and for on street parking in the London Road area, to include the first 20minutes for FREE
Since the increased parking tariffs were introduced in March 2012 businesses have suffered a significant loss of trade (up to 30%) which is resulting in the loss of jobs, loss of livelihoods and a significant loss of customer satisfaction. At present it costs more to park in the London Road car park at the weekend for 2 hours than it does to park in the Churchill Square car parks. Give London Road a fighting chance! Bring the parking charges down!
The petition will be presented to the meeting of Full Council on 13
December 2012.
