Purpose:
The draft SPD sets out proposed guidance for
decision-makers, landowners and developers about flood defences and
flood mitigation measures at Shoreham Harbour. The SPD provides
detailed guidance on how planning policy will be implemented. This
SPD will sit alongside the Shoreham Harbour Joint Area Action
Plan.
Decision:
(1) Agree to adopt the Flood Risk Management Guide Supplementary Planning Document for Shoreham Harbour.
(2) Delegate responsibility for editorial or factual amendments to the Executive Director Environment, Development & Housing in consultation with the Chair of the Committee.
